St. Mary Church to present Fair Trade Christmas Bazaar

St. Mary Church, 340 N. Main St., will host a Fair Trade Christmas Bazaar Dec. 8 and 9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. A wide assortment of fair trade items from 16 vendors representing artisans and farmers throughout the Americas, Africa, Asia and the Holy Land will be for sale. This event includes free admission, with fair trade coffee and chocolate tasting, and a raffle to win a gift from one of the vendor tables. Fair Trade is an international movement to build equitable trading relationships between consumers and the disadvantaged of the world. Through fair trade, underprivileged workers are enabled to generate change and opportunity for themselves by learning skills; adapting traditions and skills to compete in the world market; and sustaining a consistent flow of income to rise above poverty.
