Resident gets bronze at Senior Olympics

Hudson resident Rod McGregor competed at the National Senior Olympics June 4 to 12 in Birmingham, Ala.

McGregor, who competed in the 60-to-64 male age group, earned the bronze medal in the 800-meter race with a time of 2 minutes, 28.49 seconds.

He also placed fifth in the 400 (1:04.63) and ninth in the 1,500 (5:40.6).

Bob Kuebler of Hudson placed 11th in the 1,500 (6:46.08). He competed in the 70-74 male age group.
