The second-seeded Hudson girls lacrosse team advanced to the Division I, Region 2 semifinals after posting a commanding 17-3 victory over ninth-seeded North Canton Hoover May 19 at Hudson Memorial Stadium.
The Lady Explorers, who improved to 15-2 overall, won their 14th straight match.
With the win, Hudson, which led 10-0 at halftime, is scheduled to host third-seeded Cleveland Heights in a regional semifinal contest May 23 at 6 p.m. Cleveland Heights defeated Rocky River Magnificat 12-5 to advance.
Corinne Hunt led Hudson with four goals and two assists and Ari Bankovich, Piper Trattner and Sarah Keller each had two goals and one assist. Keller also had four takeaways.
Maddie Valko added two goals and Elizabeth Hinkle contributed one goal and three assists.
Julia Stiles finished with one goal and one assist.
Also scoring one goal apiece for Hudson were Mia Becker, Kendall Paltani and Sarah Hinkle. Elle Marquez and Tyler Vidmar each had an assist.
Marquez also won all five of her draws and Elizabeth Hinkle won 10 of 13 draws.
Goalies Kristin Potts and Addie Gojdics made two and four saves, respectively, for the Lady Explorers.
Payton Mash, Leah Slutzker and Katie Harcourt scored one goal apiece for the Lady Vikings (6-11). Sammie Battista and Catherine Wise each had one assist for Hoover.
