Hudson boys lacrosse crushes Riverside in 2017 postseason debut

The Hudson boys lacrosse team made a stellar 2017 postseason debut.
The Explorers earned a lopsided 25-0 victory over Painesville Riverside in the second round of the Division I, Region 2 tournament.
The contest took place May 18 at Hudson Memorial Stadium.
With the win, Hudson improved to 13-5. The Beavers finished 5-11.
The Explorers are scheduled to host Brecksville-Broadview Heights in the third round May 20 at Hudson Memorial Stadium. Play is set to begin at noon.
The Explorers scored eight goals in the first quarter and nine in the second to take a 17-0 halftime lead.
Jack Burdett had a season-high five goals and Joe Graf had three goals and one assist.
Patrick Burdett and Adam Dunne each had two goals and one assist and Alex Beegle and Mason Prisk each had two goals.
Also scoring one goal apiece for Hudson were Nick Advent, Blake Lori, Max Charlton, Charlie Murphy, Peyton Miller, Danny LaFontaine, Sean Weigel, Stephen Russell and Kevin Callahan.
Charlton had a season-high eight assists and Cole had three assists.
Anthony Rightnour, Callahan, Brady Ludewig and Mason Prisk each had an assist.
Hudson outshot Riverside 52-6 and had a 56-16 edge in ground balls.
