The Hudson boys cross country team placed third with 93 points at the 13-team Woodridge Wrap-Up May 6 in Peninsula.
Akron Firestone won the competition with 97.5 points and Brecksville-Broadview Heights finished second with 97 points.
The Explorers' 3,200-meter relay team of Blake Roberts, Connor Sinko, Adam Beucler and Lucas Lay won with a time of 8 minutes, 11.6 seconds.

Chardon won the competition with 119 points and Wadsworth (94) and Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (89) placed second and third, respectively.

Both teams are scheduled to compete in the Suburban League Championships this week. The competition was set to begin May 9 and conclude May 11 (4:30 p.m.) at Nordonia High School's Boliantz Stadium in Macedonia.
