Several athletes commit to colleges

Several Hudson senior athletes plan to continue their academic and athletic careers on the collegiate level.

The following athletes recently made their commitments:

Football: Alex Beck (The Ohio State University in Columbus); Spencer Haywood (Baldwin Wallace University in Berea); Drew Heller (Trine University in Angola, Ind.); Adam Mehelic (Miami University in Oxford); Jackson Parker (Baldwin Wallace); Joe Sweet (Wittenberg University in Springfield); and Jonah Wieland (the University of Akron)

Volleyball: Alena Madar (Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y.)

Boys soccer: Ryan Jackson (John Carroll University in University Heights); Jack Sarkisian (Ashland University); and Alex Vuksta (Endicott College in Beverly, Mass.)

Girls soccer: Kim Ito (Virginia Commonwealth University)

Boys golf: Will Kurtz (Kent State University)

Girl tennis: Molly Sandberg (Cornell)

Swimming: Natalie Gundling (Drexel University in Philadelphia); Brittan Ham (Cleveland State University); Rachel Johnson (Findlay College); and Macy Trattner (Rollins College in Winter Park, Fla.)

Baseball: Bryce Kilfoyle (Wittenberg); and Hayden Knox (Wittenberg)

Boys lacrosse: Stroud Corr (Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa.); Max Kleiman (Hanover College, Ind.); Cole Miller (Denison College in Granville); and Enrique Rodriguez (Denison)

Softball: Sara Gedeon (Dominican College in Orangeburg, N.Y.)

Track and field and cross country: Blake Roberts (Butler University, Pa.)

Track and field: Sydney Booth (John Carroll); and Amy Morris (John Carroll)
