The Hudson girls lacrosse team earned a 13-9 victory over Western Reserve Academy May 8 at Hudson Memorial Stadium.
The match was tied 5-5 at halftime and 8-8 with less than 20 minutes left.
Elle Marquez and Corinne Hunt each scored three times and Maddie Valko scored twice for the Lady Explorers (11-2), who have won 10 matches in a row. Marquez also scooped up five ground balls.
Piper Trattner, Ari Bankovich and Sarah Keller each had one goal and one assist for Hudson.
Elizabeth Hinkle contributed two assists and won 11 draws and Kendall Paltani and Sarah Hinkle each scored once for the Lady Explorers.
Julia Gasbarre had three goals and Chloe Beggs finished with two goals and one assist for Reserve. Abby King scored two goals and Mackenzie Farber had one goal and one assist for WRA (9-5).
Teagan Polak also scored once for the Pioneers.
Hudson goalie Kristin Potts made nine saves and Reserve goalie Brooke Barsella had 12 saves.
