It was a fun ride, but now it's over.
The Western Reserve Academy girls lacrosse team's six-match winning streak came to an end after losing to 2016 Division I state runner-up Massillon Jackson 9-1 at the Cleveland Heights Invitational April 29 at the Laurel Butler Campus in Russell.
Julia Gasbarre scored the lone goal for the Pioneers (8-4). Reserve goalie Brooke Barsella made two saves in the cage.
