Girls lacrosse wins third straight match

The Hudson girls lacrosse team had three straight wins as of press time.

The Lady Explorers improved to 4-2 on the season after posting a 12-7 victory over Hawken April 25 in Gates Mills.

Ari Bankovich led Hudson with four goals and Corinne Hunt had three goals and one assist.

Elizabeth Hinkle added two goals and won 13 of 16 face-offs. Sarah Keller finished with one goal and two assists.

Piper Trattner and Maddie Valko scored one goal apiece and Kendall Paltani contributed two assists for the Lady Explorers.

Hudson was set to host Shaker Heights April 27 before heading to the Cleveland Heights Invitational April 29. Results of those matches were not available at press time.

The Lady Explorers are set to entertain Shaker Heights Hathaway Brown May 2. Play is set to begin at 7 p.m.
