Mariah Duncan's gem leads Hudson softball past Stow-Munroe Falls

The Hudson softball team has won two consecutive conference games.
The Lady Explorers followed up their 8-0 win over Cuyahoga Falls April 24 with a 3-1 victory over host Stow-Munroe Falls April 25 at Weddle Park.
With the win, Hudson improved to 6-8 overall and 6-5 in the Suburban League National Conference.
Right-hander Mariah Duncan allowed two hits in seven innings of work to get the win.
The Lady Explorers scored all of their runs in the top of the sixth.
Cami Madar led off the inning with a double to the gap in left-center field.
Duncan added a single and went to second base on the throw back to the infield.
Martha Masich drove in both Madar and Duncan with a double to the fence in left center.
Masich moved to third on a passed ball and scored on a wild pitch.
