Hudson girls lacrosse team routs Revere

Hudson second-year head coach Persy Sample is scheduled to turn 25 April 16.
The Lady Explorers nearly gave her that many goals as an early birthday present.
Host Hudson improved to 2-2 on the season after posing a commanding 20-9 victory over Bath Township Revere April 15 at Hudson Memorial Stadium.
With the win, the Lady Explorers improved to 2-2 on the season. The Lady Minutemen dropped their first game of the season to fall to 6-1.
Revere scored the first two goals before Hudson's offense took complete control.
The Lady Explorers outscored the Lady Minutemen 10-1 in a span of 18 minutes in the opening half.
Once again, though, Hudson started slowly in the second half.
Revere, which got a goal with less than two minutes left in the first half, scored the first two goals of the second half to cut the Lady Explorers' advantage to 10-6.
But Hudson completely dominated the rest of the way.
The Lady Explorers took advantage of several Lady Minutemen fouls to score six free-position goals.
Maddie Valko led Hudson with six goals and Elizabeth Hinkle had two goals and four assists.
Corinne Hunt added four goals and two assists and Sarah Keller finished with three goals for the Lady Explorers.
Also contributing for Hudson were Kendall Paltani (two goals and two assists), Piper Trattner (one goal), Sarah Hinkle (one goal), Julia Stiles (one goal) and Ari Bankovich (two assists).
Elle Marquez won 11-of-12 draws and Elizabeth Hinkle won 11-of-18 draws for the Lady Explorers.
Hudson goalies Addie Gojdics and Kristin Potts played one half apiece.
Gojdics made two saves in the first half and Potts stopped three shots in the second half.
Eliana Burlotos scored the first four goals for Revere. Courtney McClellan added three goals and Jordan Zablo had one goal and one assist for the Lady Minutemen.
Revere also got a goal from Rachel Ritzic.
