The Hudson softball team fell to 2-3 overall and 2-1 in the Suburban League National Conference after losing to Wadsworth 9-2 April 10 on the road.
The Lady Grizzlies scored four runs apiece in the fourth and fifth innings, respectively, to take a 9-0 lead.
Wadsworth pitcher Kim Crookston took a perfect game into the seventh, but the Lady Explorers scored two runs on three hits in the top of the seventh. Crookston finished with 13 strikeouts.
Right-hander Mariah Duncan took the loss in the pitcher's circle. Hudson finished with two errors.
Cami Madar had a run-scoring double and eventually scored on Duncan's run-scoring single.
The Lady Grizzlies had 10 hits and no errors.
