The host Hudson girls lacrosse team suffered a convincing 16-4 defeat to Everest (Ontario, Canada) Academy April 5 at Hudson Memorial Stadium.
Maddie Valko scored twice for the Lady Explorers and Corinne Hunt and Piper Trattner each scored once.
Elizabeth Hinkle added an assist for Hudson, which was scheduled to visit Stow-Munroe Falls April 8. Results were not available at press time.
The Lady Explorers are set to visit Rocky River Magnificat April 11 at Lost Nation Sports Park West in Lorain. Game time is scheduled for 5 p.m.
Hudson is planning its fifth annual Lacrosse Out Cancer pink-out day April 15 prior to its game against Bath Township Revere at Memorial Stadium.
The activities, which include a fundraiser of a sale of pre-ordered long-sleeve Hudson Lacrosse T-shirts and a bake sale, are set to take place at 11 a.m.
The varsity game is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. with the junior varsity match set for 1 p.m.
There will be a special moment of silence for survivors in attendance and for those who have passed away from cancer.

The funds will be raised in support of The Karen Wellington Foundation, which was established in 2007.
