Hudson graduate Hannah Boesinger, who recently completed her senior year with the Ohio (Athens) University women's basketball team, recently was named to the 2017 Academic All-Mid-American Conference team.
Boesinger, an environmental biology major, finished her career with a grade point average of 3.265. She played in all 32 games this season as the first person off the bench. She also started 12 games.
Boesinger averaged 5.6 points per game while grabbing 2.9 rebounds a contest. She also had 19 steals and 12 assists. She had 55 offensive boards compared to 38 defensive boards. Boesinger shot 39.6 percent from the field.
During conference play, Boesinger averaged 6.1 points per game and shot 45.6 percent from the field and 33.3 percent from 3-point range. She led the team in scoring once and scored in double figures seven times.
Boesinger had her first career double-double during the winter and scored a season-high 17 points and grabbed 6 rebounds against Miami (Oxford) University.
