The Hudson boys lacrosse team improved to 4-0 with a tense 11-10 victory over Pine-Richland March 27 in Gibsonia, Pa.
The Explorers had an 8-7 lead at halftime.
Anthony Rightnour led Hudson with three goals and Max Cole had two goals and four assists.
Chandler Kotseos and Merrick Widdoes each had two goals and Danny Saxon and Cole Miller each scored once for the Explorers.
Miller also had an assist for Hudson. Explorers' goalies Stroud Corr and Matt Withem finished with six and three saves, respectively.
Hudson won just 8-of-23 face-offs and was outshot 39-20. The Explorers had a 20-18 advantage in ground balls.
Hudson converted two extra-man opportunities and killed 3-of-4 of the Rams' extra-man opportunities.
The Explorers' junior varsity squad improved to 4-0 after posting a 12-4 win.
The varsity team is scheduled to visit Solon April 4 at Stewart Field. Play is set to begin at 7 p.m.
