The Hudson boys track and field team lost to Suburban League National Conference foe Nordonia 97-40 March 28 at Boliantz Stadium in Macedonia.

Adam Beucler led the way for the Explorers. He finished first in three individual events. Beucler won the 800 (2 minutes, 8.4 seconds), the 1,600 (4:51.4) and the 3,200 (10:18.5).

Beucler was the only Explorer to finish first, but a number of other athletes scored points for Hudson (0-1, 0-1).

Dominic Weaver finished second in two individual events. He accomplished the feat in the 110 high hurdles with a time of 17.05 and the 300 intermediate hurdles with an effort of 45.5.

Due to the fact that they were missing so many athletes, many Explorers competed in more than one event against Nordonia.
