Newborns in Need meets March 18

The Hudson Chapter of Newborns in Need will meet Mar 18 from 9:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Hudson, located at 21 Aurora St. (parking and entrance in rear).

The agencies NIN supplies handmade items to include Akron Children's Hospital, Hillcrest Hospital, Pregnancy Solutions and Pregnancy Care. Some of the items made each month includes sewing several types of crib sheets, burp cloths, receiving blankets, baby quilts, bibs and slings. They also knit and crochet hats, booties and blankets and are in need of volunteers to do this. It can be done at home and NIN will supply the yarn.

The group extends a warm invitation to all interested parties as help is always needed in cutting, sewing, pressing, finishing, knitting and crocheting to meet our goal for each agency. Come and enjoy the fun and fellowship of a great group of ladies, lunch will be provided. Please watch the Hudson Hub for upcoming news and events. We are in need of donations for JoAnn gift cards to replenish our supplies we use in making these items.

NIN is the only chapter in North East Ohio. Please contact Nancy Adams for more information at NAdams3592@gmail.com.
