Several gymnasts from Flytz Gymnastics competed at the All-Around Challenge, which concluded Jan. 29 at the Spire Institute in Geneva.
The competition featured thousands of gymnasts from several states.
Hudson residents Lydia Reed, Alyssa Bezdek, Emily Plone, Hailey Benoit, Cate Bundy, Katie Chmura and Claire Potter competed for Flytz.
Redd and Bezdek are Level 7 gymnasts.
Redd placed first on bars with a score of 9.35 and third (35.85) in the all-around competition.
Bezdek placed second (34.425) in the all-around standings. Redd and Bezdek helped their team win the Level 7 Team competition.
Plone, a Level 6 gymnast, finished second (9.275) on vault, third (8.775) on bars, third (9.2) on the balance beam and third (36.5) in the all-around competition.
Benoit, Bundy, Chmura and Potter are Level 3 gymnasts.
Benoit placed third (9.35) on vault, third (9.05) on the bars and first (9.325) on beam, third (8.9) on the floor exercise and first (36.625) in the all-around standings.
Bundy took first (9.125) on bars. Chmura finished first (9.375) on vault, second (9.25) on beam, second (9.05) on floor and third (36.575) in the all-around competition.
Potter placed third (9.225) on vault and first (9.15) on floor.
Xcel Silver gymnast Genevieve Baylor of Hudson captured third (9.325) on beam.
Xcel Gold gymnast Kirsten Glen, a Hudson resident, took third (8.825) on vault, third (8.7) on bars and third (35.475) in the all-around standings.
Hudson residents and Xcel Platinum gymnasts, Lindsey Havens, Josie Hall, Maggie Rischitelli and Abby Young also competed.
Havens placed first (9.275) on bars, first (9.55) on beam and first (36.575) in the all-around competition.
Hall finished third (9.05) on vault and first (9.375) on floor. Rischitelli placed third (8.9) on bars, third (9.225) on floor.
Young captured third (8.925) on beam and second (9.425) on floor.
Havens, Hall, Rischitelli and Young led their team to first place in the Xcel Platinum team competition.
