Hudson gymnasts place second at Suburban League Meet

The Hudson gymnastics team finished second with 138.575 points at the Suburban League Meet Feb. 4 at Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School.
The Lady Bees, who have won 13 consecutive state championships, won the eight-team competition with 142.6 points.
Stow-Munroe Falls took third with 136.175 points.
Macy Lori led the Lady Explorers with an all-around score of 34.85.
She placed third (8.575)  on the uneven bars and fifth (8.925) on the floor exercise.
Abby Petty was next for Hudson with a seventh-place all-around score of 34.45. She finished fourth (9) on the balance beam.
Jill Bevan captured eighth in the all-around standings with a score of 34.375.
Julia Petty earned All-Suburban League first-team honors after placing second (9.2) on the beam.
Rounding out the scoring for the Lady Explorers was Hannah Teed, who took second (8.725) to earn first-team all-league on bars.
