The Hudson boys basketball team improved to 6-9 overall and 2-6 in the Suburban League National Conference after posting a 56-51 victory over North Royalton Jan. 31 at Ray "Buck" Hyser Gymnasium.
Spencer McClure led the Explorers with a game-high and career-high 20 points.
Evan Jones added a career-high 10 points off the bench for Hudson.
Brandon Kyle led the Bears with 15 points.
The Explorers' junior varsity team earned a 49-42 win. Connor Gynn led Hudson with 15 points and was 7-of-8 from the free throw line in the final 1 minute, 40 seconds.
Kevin McBride finished with 11 points and Jack Burdett had 10 points for the Explorers.
Hudson earned a 38-34 victory in the freshman contest.
