The Western Reserve Academy boys cross country team finished 18th with 512 points in the 44-team Division III "A" race at the Tiffin Cross Country Carnival Sept. 10.
Fort Laramie won the competition with 125 points and Smithville (215) and Carey (295) placed second and third, respectively.
Bucyrus Colonel Crawford's Chad Johnson won the race with a time of 15 minutes, 53.4 seconds. A total of 304 runners competed.
Danny Mylott led the Pioneers with a 21st-place clocking of 17:09.5.
Rounding out the top five for Reserve were Cole Howard (46th, 17:39), Sammy Bluso (74th, 18:11.6), John Narouze (175th, 19:26.3) and Max Wang (202nd, 19:49.9).
