The Hudson girls tennis team's three-match losing streak came to an end Sept. 7.
The host Lady Explorers improved to 6-4 overall and 2-0 in the Suburban League National Conference after posting a 5-0 victory over Stow-Munroe Falls.
Hudson had no trouble in singles' play.
Molly Sandberg, Grace Graham and Isabelle Mawby cruised to 6-0, 6-0 wins.
The Lady Explorers' doubles teams of Istabraq Dalieh and Lauren Kane (6-4, 6-1) and Emmie Kowalski and Hannah Forrestal (6-4, 7-5) also triumphed.
Host Hudson lost to Laurel (Shaker Heights) 3-2 Sept. 6.
Sandberg continued her undefeated season for the Lady Explorers with a 6-0, 6-1 victory at first singles.
The Lady Explorers' doubles' team of Dalieh and Jenny Gan posted a 6-2, 7-5 win.
Hudson was scheduled to visit National Conference foe Brecksville-Broadview Heights Sept. 8 before returning home to play Dublin Jerome Sept. 10. Results of those matches were not available at press time.
The Lady Explorers are set to entertain National Conference rival Twinsburg Sept. 12 and Western Reserve Academy Sept. 13.
They are scheduled to visit National Conference foe Wadsworth Sept. 14 before returning home to play Magnificat (Rocky River) Sept. 15 and Westlake Sept. 16.
All four matches are set to begin at 4 p.m.
