The Hudson girls soccer team earned a 1-1 draw with Suburban League National Conference rival North Royalton Sept. 7 on the road.
Olivia Adkins scored with 17 minutes to go for the Lady Explorers' lone goal. Adkins scored on a rebound after a shot by teammate Jordan Manley.
Julia Tyma scored the Lady Bears' lone goal with six minutes to go on a corner kick. Goalkeeper Lillian Morgan made seven saves, including a stop on a penalty kick for Hudson (3-1-1, 1-0-1).
The Lady Bears had a 7-5 advantage in shots on goal and a 7-5 edge in corner kicks.
The Lady Explorers' junior varsity 'A' team won 4-0 to improve to 3-2.
The varsity squad was scheduled to visit Suburban League crossover foe Copley Sept. 10. Results were not available at press time.
Hudson is set to host National Conference rival Cuyahoga Falls Sept. 13 at Hudson Memorial Stadium before heading to Uniontown to play Green Sept. 17.
Both games are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
