Lacrosse to have two tourney divisions

All four state championship games are scheduled to take place June 3 at Ohio Wesleyan University's Selby Stadium in Delaware, pending contract agreement between OWU and the Ohio High School Athletic Association.
State semifinal matches are set to take place May 30 and 31 at neutral sites around the state, similar to the format currently used for the soccer state semifinals in early November.
The official start date of practice for the 2017 OHSAA lacrosse season is scheduled for Feb. 20, with matches set to begin March 17.
Seeding and bracketing for the girls and boys tournaments are scheduled to take place on May 7.
The tournament is set to begin at the regional level in a similar format to the football playoffs, the week of May 15. The regional semifinals and regional finals are scheduled to take place the week of May 22.
