Hudson girls cross country team places fourth at Mentor

The Hudson girls cross country team placed fourth with 107 points at the 15-team Mentor Invitational Aug. 30.

Brunswick won the competition with 51 points and Medina (74) and Chardon (86) finished second and third, respectively.

Geneva's Emily Deering placed first out of 118 runners with a time of 19 minutes, 27.1 seconds.

Cameron Bujaucius led the Lady Explorers with a 12th-place time of 20:27.25.

Arielle Dalea was next for Hudson in 15th (20:36.14).

Rounding out the top five for the Lady Explorers were Elizabeth Hinkle (18th, 20:45.08), Sarah Wolanske (25th, 20:57.5) and Hannah Teed (37th, 21:21.28).
