Hudson beats Green in season debut

The Hudson boys soccer team earned a 2-0 victory over Green in its season debut Aug. 21 in Uniontown.

Jack Sullivan and Trevor Colazzo each scored once for the Explorers.

Andrew Kern had both assists and Hudson goalkeeper Brendon O'Neil made two saves.

The Explorers had a 9-2 advantage in shots on goal and a 3-2 edge in corner kicks.

Hudson posted a 3-1 win in the junior varsity contest.

The Explorers were scheduled to visit Northeast Ohio Conference rival Cuyahoga Falls Aug. 26. Results were not available at press time.

They are set to entertain NOC foe Stow-Munroe Falls Sept. 2 at 7 p.m.
