The Hudson boys soccer team improved to 2-0 after posting a 3-0 victory over Northeast Ohio Conference rival Cuyahoga Falls Aug. 27 at Laybourne Field.
The game turned out to be a two-day affair as the game started Aug. 26 and was stopped with 16 minutes, 21 seconds remaining in the first half due to inclement weather.
Chris Ito got the Explorers on the board with 19 minutes, 19 seconds left in the first half off an assist from Matt Wallace.
Drew Saxer made it 2-0 a little more than a minute later (18:09) off an assist from Trevor Colazzo.
In the second half, Jack Sullivan found the net off a rebound with 11:22 left.
Wallace capped the scoring when he converted a penalty kick with 24 seconds remaining in the game. Colazzo finished with two assists for Hudson, which had a 13-1 advantage in shots on goal and a 9-1 edge in corner kicks.
Explorers' goalkeeper Brendon O'Neil needed to make just one save.
