Hudson girls soccer team shuts out Shaker in season debut

The Hudson girls soccer team made a stellar debut after posting a 4-0 victory over Northeast Ohio Conference rival Shaker Heights Aug. 18 on the road.

Kim Ito led the way with two goals and two assists and Maddy Waters and Erin Torrence each scored once. Allie Dunne added an assist.

The Lady Explorers had an 8-2 advantage in shots on goal and a 4-0 edge on corner kicks.

Hudson goalkeeper Sarah L'Hommedieu made two saves in the nets.

The Lady Explorers are set to host Parma Normandy Aug. 25 and Northeast Ohio Conference rival Stow-Munroe Falls Aug. 27. Both games are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
