Hudson residents fare well at Billy Goat Challenge

The Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy boys cross country team placed sixth with 147 points at the 13-team 2014 Billy Goat Challenge Aug. 23 at Woodland Park in McDonald.

Sugarcreek Garaway won the competition with 49 points.

Hudson resident Ryan Adams placed first out of 180 runners with a time of 17 minutes, 1 second for CVCA.

The CVCA girls finished second with 69 points. Woodridge won the 12-team competition with 50 points.

Hudson resident Sammy Bockoven led CVCA with a second-place clocking of 20:23.7.
