The Hudson girls golf team placed fourth with a score of 373 at the inaugural 10-team Medina Invitational Aug. 14 at Medina Country Club.
Massillon Jackson won with a score of 312 and Kent Roosevelt (317) and Medina (347) finished second and third, respectively.
Kent's Kasey Nielsen was the medalist with a 72. Julia Goodson led the Lady Explorers with an 87.
Rounding out the top four for Hudson were Meredith Spitz (92), Moe Madar (96) and Mary Catherine Good (98).
"It was a good experience for the girls learning how important course knowledge is for scoring," Lady Explorers head coach Doug Snelling said.
Hudson was scheduled to host the Lady Explorer Invitational Aug. 18 at Lake Forest Country Club. Results were not available at press time.
Hudson is set to compete at the Midwest Classic Aug. 23 at Skyland Pines Golf Course in Canton. Play is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m.
