Fall sports programs offered

Hudson Community Education and Recreation and Jump Start Sports are planning to run several sports programs in the fall.

Hummingbirds Soccer is an instructional and recreational league for children, ages 3 to 6. Flag football is being offered for children entering grades kindergarten through four. There are three fall baseball programs being offered: Hudson T-Birds T-Ball for 3- and 4-year olds, Rookie League Introductory Coach Pitch Baseball for 5- and 6-year olds and Major League Rec Baseball for 7- and 8-year olds.

All of these programs focus on teaching fundamentals, utilizing age appropriate drills, followed by a non-competitive game.

All coaching and instruction will be led by Jump Start Sports staff. The Hummingbirds soccer program is set to take place at Beachwood Middle School (2860 Richmond Road) and all other programs are set to take place at Hilltop Elementary School (24524 Hilltop Drive).
