Two Toledo natives held the lead after day one of the Hudson Junior Invitational June 10.
After round two on June 11 at The Country Club of Hudson, one of those Toledo natives has taken control.
Ben Silverman shot a round of one-under-par 71 to take the lead in the boys field. He stands at -5 for the tournament (68-71).
Recent Walsh Jesuit graduate Chase Johnson finds himself in a familair place after shooting a two-under-par round of 70. Johnson sits second at -2 (72-70), having finished as runner-up at the Junior each of the last two years.
Toledo's John Macinotti, the other day one leader, sits third after shooting a three-over-par round of 65.
The round of day was shot by another Toledo native, as Mitchell Koatak shot a six-under-par 66, just two strokes shot of the torunament record.
