The Hudson boys lacrosse team earned its third consecutive victory after posting a lopsided 19-5 win over Medina May 9 at Hudson Memorial Stadium.
With the win, the Explorers improved to 10-4. The Bees dropped to 8-4.
Since a 13-12 overtime loss to Olentangy May 3 on the road, Hudson has outscored its last three opponents 55-13.
Against Medina, the Explorers took a 5-0 lead in the first three minutes and never looked back. Hudson led 14-2 at halftime.
Because it was a 12-goal differential, the second half was played with a running clock.
Zach Nye led the Explorers with five goals and two assists and Bo Lori had two goals and three assists.
Mick Mougey, Brent Zubal and Grant Elffers each had two goals and one assist and Reid Robinson scored twice.
Nathan Menendez and Sam Gregory each finished with one goal and one assist and Cameron Haggerty and Kyle Ator each scored once.
Matt Rightnour added two assists and Seth Wagner had one assist.
Hudson goalkeepers Jake Krone and Spencer Kline finished with seven and three saves, respectively.
Chris Motter scooped up 13 ground balls and won 18 of 25 face-offs. The Explorers won 19 of 27 face-offs.
Hudson outshot the Bees 46-22 and had a 58-25 advantage in ground balls.
