Hudson girls lacrosse team rolls past Cleveland Heights

The Hudson girls lacrosse team improved to 8-6 on the season after posting a 10-4 victory over Cleveland Heights May 1 on the road.

Jackie Kisthardt and Maria Russell each had four goals for the Lady Explorers. Kiley Merrill added a goal and an assist and Kasey Thom also scored once. Annie Lori added an assist.

Ally Prosser picked up four ground balls and won four draws and Hudson goalkeeper Cassie Woodward made nine saves.

The Lady Explorers also posted an 8-0 win in the junior varsity game.

Shannon Weber and Reed Cart each had two goals and Ari Bankovich, Leah Ambroziak, Ava Cristofoli and Sarah Kellar added one goal apiece for Hudson.

The Lady Explorers were scheduled to host Stow-Munroe Falls May 5 at Hudson Memorial Stadium. Results were not available at press time.

Hudson is set to conclude the regular season at Upper Arlington May 10 at 11 a.m.

The Lady Explorers earned the fifth seed in the North/Central Region Division I tournament. Hudson is scheduled to host the North Canton Hoover-Delaware Hayes winner May 14. Time and location were not available at press time.
