Hudson boys lacrosse team routs Dublin Coffman

The host Hudson boys lacrosse team earned its third straight victory after posting a 14-0 win over Dublin Coffman April 25 at Scott Malson Field.

With the victory, the Explorers improved to 6-3. The Shamrocks fell to 3-9.

Hudson dominated from start to finish and won 11 of 17 face-offs. Chris Motter won all 11 of the team's face-offs.

Gabe Vehar had five goals and Bo Lori Lori finished with four goals and five assists.

Zach Nye had one goal and two assists and Mick Mougey had one goal and one assist. Cameron Haggerty, Luc Jambon and Reid Robinson each scored once.

Nate Menedez added an assist and Explorers' goalkeeper Jake Krone made five saves.

Hudson outshot Coffman 39-25 and had a 47-25 edge in ground balls. Lori finished with a team-high eight ground balls and Motter added seven ground balls.

The Explorers lost an 11-7 decision in the junior varsity contest.
