Western Reserve Academy baseball team holds off Benedictine


The Western Reserve Academy baseball team improved to 6-2 on the season after posting a 10-9 victory over Benedictine April 21 at Case Western University in Cleveland.
The Pioneers scored four runs apiece in the fifth and sixth innings, respectively. Benedictine scored seven runs in the bottom of the seventh.
Reserve finished with nine hits and one error and Benedictine had 16 hits and three errors.
Liam Sullivan led the offense with two singles, a run scored and a run batted in. Sam Becker added a double, three RBIs and a run scored.
Connor Semple got the win on the mound.
