Hudson girls lacrosse team rolls past Kent Roosevelt

The host Hudson girls lacrosse team improved to 5-4 on the season after posting a 13-7 victory over Kent Roosevelt April 21 at Hudson Memorial Stadium.

Jackie Kisthardt had four goals and one assist and Kasey Thom finished with three goals for the Lady Explorers.

Maria Russell and Maddie Valko each finished with two goals and Maddie Murphy had one goal and one assist for Hudson.

Kiley Merrill added two assists and Kayla Miller had one assist.

Megan Patrick and Brenna Zuranski each scored twice for the Rough Riders (4-6) and Mackenzie Pensyl, Emma McCarty and Kayleigh Klima added one goal apiece for Kent.

Ally Prosser won eight draws and Macy Tratner won six draws for the Lady Explorers.

Nikki Beckham picked up five ground balls for Hudson.
Lady Explorers goalkeeper Sarah Price made five saves.

Hudson led 7-3 at halftime and was up 13-4 with less than five minutes remaining in the game.
