The Hudson boys tennis team improved to 4-4 on the season after posting a 5-0 victory over Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy April 17 in Cuyahoga Falls.
Dominic Polifrone (6-1, 6-1), Jack Graham (6-2, 6-0) and Nicci Polifrone (3-6, 6-3, 7-5) triumphed in singles' play.
The Explorers doubles teams of Michael Wolowiecki and Ari Basu (6-0, 6-0) and Chris Palmann and Joe Murphy (6-0, 6-1) also rolled.
Hudson a 5-0 win over Mentor in its Northeast Ohio Conference Valley Division debut April 16 on the road.

Host Hudson (3-4) lost a 5-0 decision to Cleveland St. Ignatius April 14.
The Explorers were scheduled to entertain Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy April 17. Results were not available at press time.
They are set to visit NOC rival Cuyahoga Falls April 21, Walsh Jesuit April 22 and Valley Division foe Shaker Heights April 23. All three matches are scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
