Hudson baseball team routs Chardon

The host Hudson baseball team earned a commanding 12-0 victory over Chardon April 17 at The Ballpark at Hudson.
The game was called after 4-1/2 innings due to the 10-run mercy rule. The Explorers scored 10 runs in the first inning and two more in the second.
Hudson (8-1) finished with 10 hits and zero errors. Chardon had two hits and three errors.
Right-hander Nanak Saran got the win for the Explorers to move to 3-0. He also had a double, two runs scored and a run batted in.
Andrew Karpinski also had a double, three RBIs and a run scored for the Explorers.
