Western Reserve Academy girls lacrosse team gets past Kent Roosevelt

The host Western Reserve Academy girls lacrosse team improved to 2-1 on the season after posting an 11-8 victory over Kent Roosevelt April 11.

Hudson resident McKenna Polak had a huge game for the Pioneers with a game-high six goals. Hudson resident Maggie Wise had three goals and one assist and Sarah Forhan of Hudson scored once for Reserve.

WRA's other goal was scored by Cristen Barnett. Hudson resident Zoe Leciejewski added an assist and Pioneers' goalkeeper Ashleigh Groves, a Hudson resident, made five saves.
