Western Reserve Academy baseball team picks up first win

The host Western Reserve Academy baseball team picked up its first win of the season after posting a convincing 11-1 victory over Gates Mills Hawken.
The game was called after five innings due to the 10-run mercy rule.
The Pioneers (1-1) broke it open with eight runs in the third inning. Reserve finished with 13 hits and zero errors. Hawken had two hits and one error.
Evan Morgan got the win on the mound. Joey Mylott had three hits, including a double, a stolen base and a run scored.
Liam Sullivan added three hits, including a double, two runs batted in and a stolen base.
