Boys team wins title

The Hudson Kiwanis fourth-grade boys travel basketball team recently won the 14-team City of Green Youth Tournament.

The team also won the tournament last year as third-grade players.

Hudson earned a 32-25 victory against North Canton in the championship game. The team was the runner-up in the Strongsville League and in the Hudson Tournament.

Hudson Drillers need players

The Hudson Drillers Baseball Club is looking to add age 8-and-younger and 9-and-younger players to a tournament baseball team for the summer.

Practices will be indoors until April and games and tournaments will be in the local area for much of the season. Prior baseball experience is not required.

Race coming

The Charge into Spring race is set for March 29 at Mentor Ridge Middle School.

The race is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
