Equestrian rider takes fifth in Missiour competition

Hudson Equestrian Center/Bochum Farm's Nandino debuted in his first United States Hunter Jumper Association International Hunter Derby Jan. 17 at the Lake Street Louis Hunter Jumper Horse Show in Missouri. Each hunter derby consists of two rounds. The first is the Classic Hunter Course and the second is the Handy Hunter Course,

Nandino started in the Classic Round with 24 horses. He ended up in 12th place when he started the Handy Round. He won the Handy Round and moved to fifth overall.

Nandino is piloted by professional rider Samantha Cosma Cooper and owned by Ellen Malson.
