Riders fare well at

St. Louis shows

Western Reserve Academy junior Joanna Malson was champion of the Novice Rider Jumpers on her horse, Tronador, at the Lake St. Louis Winter Festival Horse Shows.

This is her first year doing the jumpers division. Joanna Malson has been showing most of her life in the Hunter Ring.

Jumpers are higher jumps and basically, the fastest. There is always a jump-off round as well.

Jessica Malson was Reserve champion in the Adult Amateur Hunter Division at the Lake St. Louis Winter Festival in Missouri.

Jessica Malson was riding her horse, Notable. The Lake St. Louis Horse Show Winter Series takes place indoors at the National Equestrian Center and the competition consists of riders from all over the United States and Canada.

Joanna and Jessica Malson are trained by Kim Cosma Segedy.
