Hudson boys hoops team falls to Wadsworth; Zullo sets career record

The host Hudson boys basketball team fell to 9-11 overall after losing a 63-52 decision to Wadsworth Feb. 19 at Ray "Buck" Hyser Gymnasium.

Austin White led the Grizzlies with 14 points and Joel Kipfer added 10 points and 12 rebounds.

Kevin Zullo knocked down four 3-pointers for his 12 points for the Explorers.

His fourth 3 of the game, which took place late in the third quarter, was the 112th of his career, a school record. Zack Brandy, a 2013 Hudson graduate, had the previous record of 111.

Mitch Guadagni added 10 points for Hudson, which earned a 37-33 victory in the junior varsity contest.
