Hudson boys bowling team settles for split

The Hudson boys bowling team finished 1-1 in a Northeast Ohio Conference tri-match Feb. 7 at the Sto-Kent Family Entertainment Center in Stow.

Stow-Munroe Falls beat both teams with a score of 2,491.

The Explorers finished with a score of 2,224 and Valley Forge had a total of 2,117.

Nich Brumbaugh had the high series (398). He rolled games of 171 and 227, respectively.

Hunter McCollough had the high game (233). He also rolled a 134.

Derek Moran posted scores of 232 and 160 and Bobby Shanks was next with scores of 167 and 130 for Hudson.

The girls lost a 2,134-1,851 decision to Stow.

Angela Piazza led the way with scores of 182 and 170.

Ashley Reed wasn't far behind with scores of 178 and 162.

Geneva Liljestrand (156 and 158) and Elaina Arsham (135 and 138) rounded out the top four for Hudson.

The Explorers' junior varsity boys team lost a 1,947-1,817 decision to Stow.

Alden Reed had the high game (183) for Hudson and teammate Adam Harris rolled a 178.
