Cuyahoga Falls rolls past Hudson bowling teams

The Hudson bowling teams lost to Northeast Ohio Conference rival Cuyahoga Falls Jan. 10 at Legend Lanes in Cuyahoga Falls.

The boys (2-9, 2-9) lost a 2,634-2,208 decision and the girls (4-6, 4-6) lost a 1,994-1,672 decision.

Hunter McCollough led the boys team with scores of 179 and 216, respectively.

Also faring well for the Explorers were Logan Booth (186 and 166), Bobby Shanks (178), Donny Geisler (176) and Philip Rust (169).

The Hudson girls were led by Angela Piazza (188-133). Autumn Stanonik (175 and 134) and Ashley Reed (106 and 135) fared well for the Lady Explorers.

The Hudson junior varsity boys posted a 1,796-1,748 win. Alec Brechtelsbauer led the way with scores of 175 and 145.

The Lady Explorers JV squad lost a 1,408-1,101 decision. Carissa Arsham (105 and 127) led the girls.
