Hudson ice hockey team rallies to beat Dublin Jerome

The Hudson ice hockey team improved to 8-6-2 after earning a dramatic 4-3 victory over Dublin Jerome at Walsh Jesuit's Warrior Shootout Dec. 28 at Kent State University Ice Arena.

Trailing 3-2, the Explorers got two goals within 49 seconds to take the lead. Zach Thibault tied the game with 3:02 left and Chandler Kostseos scored the go-ahead goal with 2:13 left.

Thibault also scored in the second period. Bo Lori added a goal and an assist for Hudson and Matt Murphy and Brendan Nenni each had one assist for the Explorers.

Hudson goaltender Austin Ganley made 29 saves. The Explorers outshot the Celtics 36-32.

Hudson also lost a 2-0 decision to Columbus St. Charles earlier in the day. Ganley finished with 28 saves as St. Charles outshot the Explorers 30-14.
