Hudson boys bowlers beat Brunswick for first win

The Hudson boys bowling team picked up its first win of the season Dec. 16 at Sto-Kent Family Entertainment in Stow.

The Explorers (1-8) earned a 2,244-1,827 victory over Northeast Ohio Conference rival Twinsburg.

The girls (3-5) lost a 2,102-1,797 decision.

Taylor Turrin led the way for the boys with a high game of 201. He also rolled a 182.

Also faring well for Hudson were Donny Geisler (197), Hunter McCollough (196), Philip Rust (191) and Logan Booth (177).

Elaina Arshan had the high game (203) for the Lady Explorers. She also bowled a 109.

Taking the second and third spots for Hudson were Angela Piazza (148-151) and Geneva Liljestrand (160-122).

Both teams are scheduled to visit NOC foe Mayfield Jan. 6 at 4:15 p.m.
