Hudson boys bowlers drop two matches; girls lose to Falls

The Hudson boys bowling team lost to Northeast Ohio Conference rivals Cuyahoga Falls and Valley Forge Dec. 12 at Sto-Kent Family Entertainment.

Falls beat both teams with a score of 2,625 and Valley Forge and the Explorers finished with scores of 2,331 and 2,021, respectively.

The Hudson girls lost a 2,062-1,708 decision to Falls.

Bobby Shanks led the Explorers with scores of 220 and 144, respectively. Rounding out the top four for Hudson were Hunter McCollough (155-179), Philip Rust (164-159) and Donny Geisler (167).

The Lady Explorers were led by Julia Gardea, who had the high game (161). Rounding out the top four for Hudson were Angela Piazza (132-143), Geneva Liljestrand (112-138) and Elaina Arsham (150).

The Hudson junior varsity boys team lost a 1,895-1,789 decision to Falls. Matt Redman led the Explorers with a 176.
